W New York - Union Square Hotel

During my holiday party on a small coach, I stayed in a hotel away from the real tourist hotspots, in the Central Park area. The room had a gorgeous city view that made up for its small size. The front desk and valet team were helpful and friendly, providing exceptional service. The hotel manager, Dan, was gracious and generous, accommodating special requests. The location was perfect, and the neighborhood was lovely. The hotel also offered amenities like a gym and room service, despite the destination fee.

The hotel charges a destination fee that includes amenities of questionable value.

The hotel had a great location in a quieter area, away from the main tourist spots but still close to everything. The staff at the Irvington restaurant and bar were efficient and the food was good. the beds were comfortable , made for a pleasant stay.

The hotel seemed dated, from the reception area to the rooms, and could use an upgrade. There was no coffee machine in the room, a bit inconvenient.

Very well located and well served by the metro to go everywhere.

My claim's a little too cold in the common areas.

I was impressed with the convenient location of W New York - Union Square, making it easy for me to explore the nearby East Village and Flatiron areas. The hotel also had nice pillows and provided good quality toiletries. The bed was comfortable, awesome for a good night's sleep.

Super comfy bed, incredibly spacious room, gorgeous view from higher floors, lots of accessible outlets and USB charging ports.

Felt most welcome, no reason to complain.

Very little soundproofing... even on the 16th floor, it's better to have earplugs so that you don't hear traffic noise or street works... No breakfast. It must be taken in a restaurant not run by the hotel. So, expensive, no buffet and very American. But then again, this is America...

The remarkable bed

I had been promised a view of Union Square, and I had no, they accused me of not being available

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is situated in the Central Park area. This allows guests to be close to everything without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds. there are numerous outstanding restaurants nearby, ensuring that guests have a variety of dining options to choose from. Another advantage of the location is its proximity to Union Square, allowing guests to easily explore the vibrant neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, providing ample space for guests to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The lighting in the rooms is inadequate, especially by the bed, which can make it difficult for guests to work or read comfortably.

Good size rooms, ideal location, lively yet not loud, bathrooms have doors, nice service at front desk, clean rooms.

Room was stylish and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was central and convenient. Great view of the park from the room. USB charging ports were a plus.

The luxurious amenities at this hotel were outstanding. From the moment we were greeted by the staff, they went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. the exclusive room advantages, including the private facilities, truly made our stay unforgettable. the restaurant and bar/lounge area were top-notch, offering delicious food and drinks. We even had special diet menus available to us.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the service at the front desk. There was a small miscommunication in regards to our reservation, but it was quickly resolved by the staff.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in this city. The cleanliness of the room was perfect, and the hotel facilities were great. The location of the hotel, right beside a major subway station in Lower Manhattan, made it convenient to explore the city. the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even better. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. this hotel provided a comfortable and convenient experience.
